Hello, Kalathos apartments have no desk in the bedroom, but there is a dinner table in the living room perfect for working. Set sets of keys is possible. A 100€ security deposit will be required Thank you

Yes, your cats are welcome, but a 150€ security deposit is necessary. Thank you

We can accept pets if your option is one of the apartments with terrace. There is either an extra 15€ day charge or you can opt for 200€ security deposit refundable on check out in case there are no damages or need for extra cleaning

Calm peacocks-surrounded apartment on the top of the hill
The advantage of this apartment is definitely its location. It is located in a very touristic area (getting from the apartment to the main road to head anywhere is a bit tough sometimes, as there are so many tourists in the line for the Castelo de São Jorge). Despite this, the atmosphere in the apartment is peaceful and tranquil. The only sound you'll hear are the peacocks living in the nearby castle. An added benefit of this property is the lovely patio area, perfect for those evenings when you just want to relax outside without having to go out to a bar/restaurant.
For some individuals, the location might be a disadvantage. If you plan to mainly walk around Lisbon, which we did, this will mean that the day will always end with an uphill walk. Fortunately, this was not a problem for us, especially after we found the elevator in a nearby store (Pingo Doce). We have noticed a weird (bad) smell in the apartment that has stuck to us and our things, even after we left. This was a big worry for us because we are very sensitive to strong odours. The last issue that we had with the building was its thin ceiling. Whenever our upstairs neighbours walked around, it sounded like elephants were stomping above us. Their noise even woke us up at night, if they came home late, and we couldn't sleep until they went to bed.

Almost, not quite
The location is great. A minute from the Castelo Sao Jorge, one of the tourist highlights of Lisbon. Good cafés and restaurants in the immediate area. The bus is handy. You always get a seat because it's the end of the line. It takes you to Praca Figueira and it's easy to connect to subway, trains from there. One thing we did love is the self-contained patio. Ideal for your morning tea and a good read .
The mattresses and pillows were not great. The cleaners changed the sheets and gave us clean towels but there wasn't much evidence that they cleaned anything else. Also they cheap out on stuff like toilet paper, dish detergent, especially if like us you stay for several days. With a bit of effort this could be an excellent rental, but they don't go the extra mile.

Good
Location is great for access to the castle. It's at the top of a hill, so lots of good work for the legs. Tall ceilings are great, and a full kitchen with a nice terrace.
- WiFi is very spotty - Stove isn't self-lighting - provided furniture is not very comfortable.
